Admissions Process
Criteria
Charlotte Country Day seeks to bring together a group
of young and capable students who will benefit from the challenges
of our school's outstanding program. The Admissions Committee
carefully evaluates each candidate on the basis of a personal
interview, admissions tests, previous academic record, and
teacher recommendations.
We look for evidence of good character, intellectual ability,
emotional maturity, curiosity, and breadth of interests. Country
Day best serves those who are prepared and motivated to meet
the requirements of a rigorous academic program.
Admissions Steps
- Visit with Admissions Office personnel to discuss the
program and tour the campus.
- Submit an application and $90 application fee.
- Take the Admissions test.
- Engage in a personal interview with a faculty member.
- Provide previous school transcripts.
- Complete teacher recommendation forms.
For Junior Kindergarten/Kindergarten Applicants Only
