Artists in Residence Program/Italy

Country Day has its own Artists in Residence program in the beautiful town of Cortona, Italy, nestled in the hills of Tuscany. Students in grades 10–12 spend two weeks studying art and refining their artistic talents.

Interested students must submit a letter of intent and portfolio to a selection committee. Students may focus on either art history or studio art. Included in the trip is airfare, trains, most meals, hotels, field trips to Assisi, Florence, Siena, and Orvieto, classes and studio time led by CCDS teachers, and a three-day trip to Rome.
